Spring has finally sprung here in the southeast. The beautiful covering of yellow dust is everywhere. It’s simply doing wonders for my seasonal allergies.
Today, I want to share with a Terrazzo inspired spring tablescape. I love having casual brunches at home. Besides the pollen count keeps me from going outside and eating alfresco. That’s not something we do often here in Georgia during the height of pollen season.
The Corelle Signature terrazzo dinnerware set was the inspiration for my color scheme and decor. Let’s start with the layers and why I selected the napkins, chargers, and table decor. I love the terrazzo pattern its an old classic that I know is pretty trendy. I love the specks of coral, blues and grays in this Correlle Signature Collection. This is what inspired the color
I always start with the first layer of the table which is the runner. I found this jute and a fringed runner at Pier 1. I wanted a natural texture to be in contrast with my table top but nothing too colorful.
Then I moved on to layering the chargers. I grabbed the rattan chargers at Pier1 almost two years ago. There are still available and in my opinion a timeless classic.
My secret sauce is the terra cotta chargers. I’ve had some on Pinterest board for a while. I have never seen them
The slate wave blue napkins were a deal I found online at World Market they added movement and paired well with the Corelle Signature terrazzo dinnerware set. The beautiful flowers are from my local grocery store and I was shocked at the unique selections. The brown girl vase is an oldie that I bought online last summer.
