My gal pal Maybelline is in need of a dog bed so that I can have mine back. She has never had one of those soft dog beds you can find almost anywhere. I’ve always wanted to make her a vintage suitcase dog bed because I’m that type of owner. I love a good DIY and I want Maybelline to be the star of her own world.
This is why I make sure when it comes to her everyday needs I provide the best. She is a special member of my small, but mighty family. Her personality is naturally fun and playful. So when it comes to feeding her I always gravitate towards dog food that I can understand and meat. Yes, my dog eats meat and I want her to have the very best.
Therefore, I feed my dog Beneful because the morsels are small and she can chew them easily. That is why I am excited to share that Beneful has reformulated its dog food and made it even better. However, like with any change your dog can be sensitive to the new formulation. Even, if you currently use Beneful you will need to transition your dog as you would with any new dog food.
Check out these helpful feeding tips and tricks to help make the transition smoothly.
Let’s, talk about this new formulation and why I am impressed with the 2 years of research that includes real pet owners, like myself. This new formula demands quality and contains familiar ingredients like beef and chicken. I’m glad that Beneful values customer feedback and are actively listening for feedback regarding this new formulation.
I’m super excited because it has no added sugar and meat is the #1 ingredient. I always gravitate towards no added sugar because Maybelline is small and very long. I want to keep her light and strong because her legs are so short and can not support extra weight. My dog still loves the texture and she is responding happily to the new formula and of course this new custom vintage suitcase dog bed. I’m glad she is happy and I can now have my human bed back without her feeling left out.
If you’re anything like me you can find a vintage suitcase at the thrift store or a tag sale. Its summer time and I see dozen of yard sales every weekend when out running errands. So while you’re out grab a bag of Beneful dry dog food at your local Publix and a vintage suitcase from a yard sale.

We made a bed out of an old dresser cabinet- I like that it has the storage we need for a small space like ours. If I had a home I’d definitely make one of these for a spare room. Too cute! #client
