Today, I want to share with you my 2 min purchase of a vintage vanity that I proceeded to strip and stain a less orange color. During my lunch hour I like to check out the local Goodwill and see what I can find. This day I walked into the store and went to the furniture section in hopes of finding an entry way table. Then I saw her my vintage vanity. I was in love. I quickly looked at her and made sure she was all intact and worth the $130 dollar price tag that I believe was little high for a Goodwill, but nevertheless I had to have her.
I snatched the tag off and quickly paid for her and said yes she is going with me in my car. LOL! I was a fool and excited to have found her and wanted to take her back to work in the back seat of my car. I even went to Target and bought a screw driver so that I could remove the mirror and slide it in the truck of my car. I was serious about this thing. Anyhow after trying to force her in my car. I realized that in my excitement that I could not put her in my back seat or truck. My husband came later that day and picked her up in our truck. I know! What was I thinking! See that’s how I am when I find something I got to have. I don’t think and all reason goes out the window. I use her every morning.
