Christmas is sometimes a busy season for a lot of us. Today, I have put together a simple list of things that will help you rock Christmas this year. I know some people plan nothing and succeed. Then there are others like myself who plan to succeed. Christmas gift planning is not hard. It’s really all in the execution and the resources available.
Create a master list for gift buying. I have a couple of categories that I use when making my list: Family, friends, kids, gift exchanges/ white elephant, and coworkers. A great way to make a list is to use an app on your phone or a simple notebook that you can carry with you.
Make a List
My favorite apps are Evernote, Keep Notes and Google Drive documents. I use Keep Notes more for tracking my shopping online or during my shopping trip. I keep track of the stores I need to visit and what items I want to look at. The Evernote or Google Document is my master list with all the names and a budget for each person.
The star of my Christmas gift planning strategy is my Elfa Mesh Gift Wrap Cart. It’s beautiful! I no longer gather everything on the kitchen table and have wrapping paper everywhere. It allows me to store everything in one place and I can wheel it around the house as I wrap gifts. It typically lives in my office, but can easily fit in a closet or storage area out of sight if needed.

Elfa Mesh Gift Wrap Cart has some neat options based on your needs. I enjoy the ribbon dispenser, the grift wrap organizer and accessory basket. It helps keep ribbon and wrapping paper from rolling all over the place. There are a variety of accessories that you can add to customize the cart. I customized mine by adding drawer dividers and labels to help keep things organized. The melamine top is also a nice touch. You can use it as a workspace or storage.
The gift cart fits perfectly with my seasonal decor because it doesn’t take up much space. I can wheel it around and it tuck it away at the end of the season.
