I am a little late on sharing my Christmas Decor for this year. I’ve shared several photos on Instagram and stories. I live on Instagram during the Holiday season. I find it the easiest way to share and find other Christmas inspirations.
This year I introduced a new tree to the dining room in a cheap and cheerful Rose Gold tinsel tree from Walmart. I first saw the pink glitter colored ornaments first also at Walmart then I just grabbed a tree. I said why not a tinsel tree.
The living room which is my main tree went through a transformation literally within days. I started with my pre-lit tree from last year. I applied my ribbons and didn’t love it. Then I took all ribbons off and tried again with a different ribbon. Again, I wasn’t delighted but I added some cute pom’s and instantly I liked it better. The tree just needed more green and pink. Then the lights went out in a section. I tried repairing and then another section went out.
Finally, I took all the decorations off the tree and ran out to Walmart. If your counting this would be the third attempt at a living room tree. I found myself at Walmart the night after black Friday. The Christmas tree section was almost empty.
A few years ago I wanted a naked Charlie Brown tree which is currently what the Scandinavian trend is all about. Well, there were two trees left that I liked and I went with the Norwegian Snowy Fir Christmas Tree.
Here are the pictures that you came to see. I also grabbed two new tree skirts, some garland for bedroom also from Walmart. The nutcrackers are from Belk. I also found some Mercury glass Christmas trees and a couple Advent Calendars.
I finished off Christmas decor by decorating a small 5ft tree in my bedroom and hanging some garland on
