Join me as I plan my indoor garden with herbs. I’m not an award wining chef or anything, but I know fresh herbs always makes chicken or fish better. I love the idea of cutting fresh herbs as I cook a stir fry or roast a chicken. I have a very romantic train of thought when it comes to planing this indoor garden. The internet is full of great ideas, DIY projects and inspiration.
Today, I want to share some of my favorite Pins and inspirations from around the internet. I hope you join me as I embark on a new adventure into gardening on my kitchen counter top.

So lets talk about how I selected my herbs and why I’m growing them from seed inside of starter plants. Why you ask? Well the packets of seeds were $1.59 and it was an impulse buy at my local garden center. I couldn’t help myself and then I bought a jar of sauce that had a basil seeds attached. That means the universe was telling me to align myself.
I know mason jars attached to wood planks is very popular on Pinterest and I can appreciate the look, but its a little to shabby chi for my decor. I also like the minimalist approach and the living walls. Have you seen the living walls? Check out this video on YouTube. I know its a little old, but its inspiring none the less. I am amazed at how good the wall turned out imagine having something like this with just herbs for cooking.
I have some IKEA pots that I plan to reuse for this project and supplies I already have around the house. I can’t wait to share my DIY herb garden soon.
