Boho chic is without doubt on my radar for summer.   What is boho chic? It can mean a lot of things to whom ever you ask, but for me I’m little boho country this summer. My idea of boho chic summers includes lots of candles, comfortable chairs, cotton blankets and night breezes. The cool summer nights are my inspiration for this mood board. Its the perfect weather for enjoying a swing in a hammock or watching the night sky.

My current outdoor space is bare and I have just a table and chairs. I bought the table on sale during Spring Black Friday and the chairs my mom found at the thrift store. I was not going to paint them or anything until my sister ask me about them. I am now itching to makeover my outdoor space with a boho chic vibe. Its how I plan to spend my summer outside working and enjoying the cool breeze and warm weather.

What’s your favorite boho chic decor?

I have a few challenges with my current space as it doesn’t have any covering or pergola to drape with lights. I know there are thousands of DIY pergola’s and coverings on Pinterest. I have yet to find one that I believe will turn out good. It might be a boho chic Pinterest fail. So I like to use mood boards to help with shopping and making sure I have a vision for my bare space.

There are few must have items on my list and some are just the color I have in mind. I know that I need an patio table umbrella, pillows, blankets, candles and some extra lighting. Then anything else will be a bonus if I can find it at a good  price. I am going to try and source some vintage items and re-purpose some old boho chic decor.
